Pyometra can be a fast killer and if your dog cannot stand and is off food and water etc. this indicates something is badly wrong. Pyometra is an infection of the womb and can be 'open' when you get a discharge or 'closed' where there is no discharge. This 'closed' one is the most dangerous as the womb fills with pus and can cause really fast, bad infection. An 'open' Pyo can be temporarily helped by antibiotics, until it is safe to spay the bitch. Sometimes they need to be spayed immediately to save their life.
She definately needs to be checked out by a vet today. Better to be safe than sorry.
