My grandparents, who emigrated from Italy at the turn of the century, would have been familiar with the look of the city then. I've not watched it all yet...will later.
I just love the women's hats...they are HUGE!

Thanks for this pastafreak. I love all these old films... several good one's on here today. I skipped through but will look proper later
I love the way these films have been slowed down to normal motion as well as enhanced. Stunning!
ABers are in reminiscent mood today - so enjoying these old films.
Wonder if some well-known gangsters were walking down those streets?
Your right about the womens hats They all look like their going to ladies day at royal ascot. Love the horse and horseless carriages. Great old film that.
high summer by the look of it, straw hats and short shadows. They haven't had elevated railways in NYC for a long time, have they?
Thanks for posting Pasta.
So hectic, people, cars, trains, and horses, all going about their business in a very busy city.
Loved it.
Very interesting, right in the middle of the transition from horse power to engine power.

Nice to see the ad for English Gloves and London Goods lording it over Washington Crisps LOL.
