Hotels near the Tate

I need to find a nice not to expensive hotel near the Tate Gallery

Tate Britain or Tate Modern (assuming you're coming to London)?

On the South Bank near the London Eye is a really expensive Marriott hotel and a not too expensive Travelodge. If it's not raining it's a very pleasant 15min stroll along the river to Tate Modern.

There's an Express by Holiday Inn nearby, and a London Bridge Hotel, plus a few more across the river if you zoom out. (Best to turn off all but hotels with the checkboxes below). The white dot is the Tate Gallery.
