Lovatts 143 Hexagon Word
8 Answers
I'm still stuck on this. Here is a description of the whole puzzle, I'd really love to solve it!!
Draw 6 segmented hexagons around a centre hexagon (7 in total) . Each hexagon starting with the top one and going clockwise label 1 to 6 leaving the central one unnumbered.
In number 1 In the third segment clockwise from the top segment put a 'T', In number 3 In the top segment put an 'S' In number 2 in segment 5 from the top put an “S' followed clockwise by TARTS.
Here are the clues for the hexagons: 1. Sock support 2.Begins 3. Principles 4. Lowing (of cow) 5. Skip about 6. Cunning
All are six letters long and run clockwise round the hexagon starting anywhere. Where the hexagons touch they have the same letter in each of the two touching segments.
When finished the central unnumbered hexagon should be a clockwise word (again starting anywhere)
My answers are: 1. Garter, 2. Starts, 3. Dogmas, 4. Mooing. I just need 5 & 6 to get the central word.
Sorry this is so long-winded but it's the only way I could describe it!!!!!
Thanks in advance
