I'm 33 and go out Friday and Saturday either to the pub or a club, It usually involves dancing. You'll find that you don't care about looking out of place after a couple of beers. Watch your moves though as I broke my foot overdoing it to The Prodigy. Having to be carried out of the pub is embarrassing at any age!
Reading about falling over in a club brought back memories. A couple of years ago I wasnt trying to impress my boyfriend by taking him to a trendy club on Brighton seafront. It was full of young 20 year olds and I was 37 or so. After about 30 mins of being there I fell flat on my face as I missed a tiny step down onto the dancefloor. OMG it was SO painful, I ended up in A & E - I never tried to impress him like that again!!
a few years back my friends and i were celebrating a 50th birthday(not mine)and two of our group were refused entry due to the fact they looked too old,so we went to paris instead.yep we caught a cheap flight that night and went i cant remember why or how we had passports with us but we did except one.but to cut a long story short that episode shure as hell peeved us so we formed a company and bought a club ourselves and be sure of this we do not operate an agism policy and can vouch for the fact that older patrons have a far better time and are a pleasure to see on the dance floor so you go and strut your stuff
