Claymation Of A Blind Man And Nurse
3 Answers
I only remember a bit of this claymation (I think) from around the late 80's very early 90's. It was shown late one night maybe channel 4? and it's always stuck in my head but i've never been able to find it again. There is this man who seems to be very lonely and lives alone. One night he goes out and while crossing a road by a park he is hit by a car. I remember him coming home from the hospital with bandages around his eyes and a white stick. His blindness is shown in this claymation by having the scene being all black apart him and the item he's trying to navigate around in his flat. They are lighten up when he touches them and when he's starts bumping into furniture they seem to come alive, like chairs rearing up and tripping him, purposely getting in front of him. He panics and I think knocks a candle over and a fire nearly stars. That's when a angle like figure appears and helps him. I don't remember much more just that she appears when he needs help and when he leaves his home he is nearly him by a car again but is helped by the angle like figure and his sight comes back and the angle figure who has been helping him comes into focus and turns out to be a nurse. There's probably a lot more to it but that's all I remember, his temporary blindness, the nurse, an angle and furniture attacking. Anyone remember this at all?
