Watched 2 I think of the new series. Big Cathy has left alias Doon Mackian (sp) - brought in a newbie.

That's it for me - won't be watching any more. It is dull as dish water.

The old cast were very good but Cathy made it superior.

I think the writers are to blame for Doon deciding to quit. They made the Cathy character so one-dimensional. I think the rest of the ensemble cast are good enough to carry the show. Can't stand Elaine C. Smith as a rule but she's absolutely brilliant as Christine.
