I do love a full cooked breakfast but never, ever, do one at home, too much of a faff and too much washing up.
Today, we met up with friends and had a delicious brunch..for me it was the full works, for other half it was a bacon bap followed by carrot cake, for the friends we were with it was one full veggie breakfast and one eggs benedict.
Extra coffee and a good catch up, loverly.

Hope you enjoyed it bednobs.
I do like spicy peppers and tomatoes with eggs cracked into them although it wouldn’t seem like a proper cooked breakfast/brunch to me, I just love a traditional one with bacon, sausage, etc, etc, as we so rarely have one.
theyve taken it off the menu since ilast went there sadly. Instead i had eggs bendict with spinach and bacon
//too much of a faff and too much washing up.//
A frying pan & a plate is "too much washing up"?
Question Author
Far more dishes than that Dave, if you do the full works, and that’s the kind of cooked breakfast I want, if I’m going to have one.
Question Author
Bednobs, that’s be my second choice, especially if the poached eggs are done right.
I can't imagine how anyone could cook sausages, bacon, eggs, black pudding, mushrooms, fried bread in one pan.

Don’t forget the beans and tomatoes Barry ;)
depends how many you're cooking for I suppose - anyway, don't you all have automatic dishwashers?
