It is the platform used to convey that opinion, and the harmful effect it can have, that is my cause for concern.'
and follow that up with 'I haven't criticised Ms Hopkins for using Twitter' //
Probably because I haven't criticised Ms Hopkins for using Twitter, and that is because as I have said, I am not even sure if she has been re-admitted to it, hence my OP, and its wording.
I am not remotely bothered if she twits until her eyes fall out, since Twitter is the platform for the terminally deluded who imagine that because they can say something, what they say must automatically matter.
The point I did make about potential platforms for Ms Hopkins nasty libelous poisonous posturings, is that I would be far more concerned if she was given a more hig-profile outlet, such as the news paper column and radio show, both of which she managed to lose by being unable to control her keyboard.
I did in fact say that - here, in case you missed it - // Should she ever regain more high-profile outlets such as the radio show and newspaper column she quite rightly lost, then i would worry more - because she could potentially reach an audience who could react to her nasty racist violent views, even though I strongly suspect she espouses them purely for the money they generate.
So I have no qualms about Ms Hopkins spilling her bile onto her keyboard and out into the yawning abyss of utter indifference that is Twitter, where having a chance to vent is reason enough to participate, even if the world as whole is not listening, because it couldn't care less. //
Hopefully that assuages any concerns you have about my mental capacity.
My points are argued logically and any counterpoints are responded to with equal logic and courtesy.
Even when the responder appears not to bother actually reading what I have posted, before assuming something i have not posted as my view, and the criticising me for it.

OK, let's take this one step at a time.
You wrote 'Whether Ms Hopkins opinions are 'correct' or not, is not an issue, anyone can hold an opinion. It is the platform used to convey that opinion, and the harmful effect it can have, that is my cause for concern.'
There is a definite connection there between KH and Twitter or are you denying that?

Of course I am denying that!
There is no connection beyond the one you insist in making, which is not indicated anywhere in anything I have posted.
In fact, the opposite, I have pointed out, at length that Ms Hopkins' presence on Twitter makes her one of millions of people spouting their pointless nonsense, and matters not at all.
As I pointed out - and this is for the third time - a more high-profile platform such as a newspaper column or radio show would be of cause for concern.
Had I thought Ms Hopkins being on Twitter was a cause for concern, in my view, i would have said so - I don't which is why I didn't.
I cannot make it any plainer than that.
If you wish to see connections that are not there, that is up to you, but I'd appreciate you not bothering me with them, I have nothing further to add.

Then maybe the quote I extracted shouldn't have had a reference to KH's opinions followed by a sentence saying Twitter wasn't (in your opinion) a good platform on which to convey those opinions?
Despite your lengthy, tautological protestations, there is a definite, if unintentional, connection there between her and Twitter.

If you want to read my posts and misunderstand them, there is nothing i can do about that.
If you want to persist in posting your misunderstandings on here, in spite of evidence that your conclusions are incorrect, then there is something I can do - I can refuse to indulge you any further by attempting to dissuade you from your determinations willfully to misunderstand plain English, and then attempt to criticise for something I haven't said, and no not think.
Therefore I am withdrawing from this line of exchange.
If you have something to say that does not involve you misunderstanding me and accusing me of something I have not thought or said, i will be delighted to exchange posts with you.
Any posts continuing this pointless nonsense, I will ignore, in the interests of not derailing the thread by facilitating your determination to drive it into a dead end.

Riiiiiight.
'it's just he would argue black is white if the mood so took him'
This being a classic case in point.
To mention someone's name specifically in connection with twitter and to suggest that twitter is a potentially harmful platform, and then to try to deny that you've done either beggars belief.
The train now arriving at Platform 2 is going straight to Crazy Town.

And just to add to your other rather bizarre comment 'Any posts continuing this pointless nonsense, I will ignore, in the interests of not derailing the thread'......
The OP has both KH's name and the word Twitter in it. How my comments, which relate directly to both, (admittedly via your contradicting comments) is derailing the thread is again quite baffling, Andy.
