yes, trying to train some school leavers in engineering mechanics,
lathes welding fitting etc, lots of hands in pockets, letter sent come with proper boots overalls etc, came with daps wellies and shell suits
i think thats what they were called my other half told me, most were late, minus two or three, soon sorted wheat from chaff, those who stayed learned hard, rules see! then had a successful life after so they have told me yrs later, no heating in the workshop then, - little porta cabin for tea lunch etc, whats lacking today is they have it to easy, do not want to put the time in err its to cold, its dirty my back aches, my hands ache, my hairs greasy...shut it.
