Thank you Cashier and Toorak. I have answered more than ten before asking for help. I can't remember the answers I got right in the current Caboodle Competition and one cannot look back to remind oneself. I will plough on as I need the challenge, being short of suitable cryptic crosswords. My favourite recently was The Oldie but I no longer see that as my sister has cancelled it.

Fibonacci neither is correct. Have you read Star of the Sea? it is the best book I have read in recent years. The international best seller and has dozens of amazing reviews by serious reviewers, You will always be glad I recommended it.

why would a small grey boat be a clue for Star of the Sea? Some of the other clues have been reasonably straightforward but no way I would have ever guessed that one.
