Lovely.
Good for you - I keep checking :)
Good, remember jj, please don’t be stingy with your heating. Being cold is miserable .

Ah Ah Ah Anne - talking to the wrong girl there - my heating is on pretty morning to night - I have been told they can't breathe with the heat LOL. Sometimes along with it I put on my wonderful fire which exudes magnificent heat Nah I am too cold-rife these years.

I will never resort to picking off icicles inside my windows ever again which I did in my last home LOL
that's a lot for WFA isn't it?
but great :)
It's not for working from home - it's the usual £200 winter fuel allowance for OAPs, plus an extra £300 to help with the increase in energy costs.
i know its not working form home ... WFA = winter fuel allwance?
Sorry, misread!
I've not gotten mine yet...waiting patiently!
While I don't like being cold, I'd not be able to live in a hot house. I grew up in one. My dad would set the thermostat all the way up...we'd all turn it down.
Id hate to think of any elderly or vulnerable people living in cold conditions this winter.
Use your heating please.

But they were tight (mean) all their lives.

I don't go a visiting in the winter months cos I can't stand their fridges/homes LOL.
Your post prompted me to check my account JennyJoan, yes - mine is in there too :-)
Soon be time to get the BIG candle out. I may even light it.
