Is it possible to change the colours of text and images in these areas of a Word document? I am due to give a seminar and would like to grey out the headers and footers to give the document a slightly more professional look.

TIA

colour can be changed just like other text
Yes, you can change the font colours. Set up the header and/or footer that you want. It will be in the usual black font. Highlight the text you want to change by dragging the mouse over it. To change the text colour, use the format shown at the top of the screen ie where you normally change fonts etc. It is not shown in the header/ footer toolbar.
Hope this helps and good luck with the presentation.
Why are you not using PowerPoint (maybe with a link to the Word file)?
