Combined Speed = 1800 / 30= 60 metres per second
In 120 seconds therefore the combined distance travelled = 120 * 60 = 7200 metres
7200 / 1800 = 4 laps
Therefore Mick is travelling 4 times as fast as Jamilah
60metres per second * 4/5 = 48 metres per second and Jamilah 12 metres per second
Check
30 seconds
Mick 48 * 30 = 1440 metres
Jamilah 12 * 30 = 360 metres
Total = 1800 meters = correct so far
120 seconds
Mike = 120 * 48 = 5760 yards
Jamilah = 120 * 12 = 1440 yards
Total = 7200 yards
Combined Speed = 1800 / 30= 60 metres per second
In 120 seconds therefore the combined distance travelled = 120 * 60 = 7200 metres
7200 / 1800 = 4 laps

60metres per second * 4/5 = 48 metres per second and Jamilah 12 metres per second

120 seconds
Mike = 120 * 48 = 5760 yards
Jamilah = 120 * 12 = 1440 yards
Total = 7200 yards
If they travel 4 laps before they meet again then it means that
Mikes speed is Jamilah's speed + 1/4 of Jamilah's speed
Mike = 1.25 Jamilah's speed
60 metres per second = 2.25 Jamilah
Jamilah = 60/2.25 = 26.67 metres per second
Mike =33.33 metres per second
In 120 seconds Jamilah hasgone 26.67 * 120= 3200 metres
Mike has gone 4000 metres
Mikes speed is Jamilah's speed + 1/4 of Jamilah's speed
Mike = 1.25 Jamilah's speed
60 metres per second = 2.25 Jamilah
Jamilah = 60/2.25 = 26.67 metres per second
Mike =33.33 metres per second
In 120 seconds Jamilah hasgone 26.67 * 120= 3200 metres
Mike has gone 4000 metres
