Tell Me Your Reasons To Be Cheerful
40 Answers
I’m still going on holiday in two weeks time ,
I’ve put every Penny we’ve been given from the government to where it was intended,on my heating, so it’s cosy warm in here although about a 2 inch covering of snow outside
My daughter and son in law have given us €500 to spen while we’re away
I’ve managed to transfer our flight to Newcastle at a cost of course but it’s worth it
Well, that’s my RTBC
How about you?

^ Haha, that reminds me of my early days in Germany, Bobs. Took me a while to get used to their 24/7 drinking hours. And, at 18, when drunk, i often ended up fighting. As a consequence, i was arrested a few times by the Redcaps. So, after a heavy night out, before i opened my eyes, i would feel for the surface on which i lay. If it was soft, i was in my bed. If it was hard, i...

Cheerful doesn't cover it! One of the best nights ever in the village. Stage set up....more than a hundred children dancing to music as they waited for Santa to come to turn on the lights.
He arrived in a fantastic horse and cart. Lights, bells and decorations. Children helped him turn on the lights then he gave every child a present with the help of his elf. Guess who that was!
Weather was great. No rain or wind. The gods must like us....or it was the word I had with the fairies? ;-)

My broadband deal with Bt ended this week. Phoned them up a couple of weeks ago and the most they could other off was 17p a month, so tried again a few days ago and same result. Thought I would ask them to send me a breakdown of it in email and what do you know, 6 months at half price and then £11 a month cheaper for same as we have now. Saving of over £400 over the 24 month contract. Good reason to be cheerful, and must remember not to accept early so called deals from them in future.
I know what you mean. I got fed up with the same people saying same old thing on news then either can't or wont give an answer. Why ask then be afraid to answer. We had couple of weeks in Spain this year then my back went really bad this time so maybe hopefully somewhere next year. It's getting better now so fingers crossed.

I have been invited to a dinner party this evening.
It is straddled across the England v France match.
Aperitifs, nibbles then a formal day round the table fig and Parma ham dish starter, followed by a main course. The host is not telling.
Then we take our seats in the lounge with drinks to tune in to the big game.
Whether it be tears of joy or abject misery, cheese and biscuits or the alternative dessert (again the hosts not letting on), will follow, as we try to unpick the game helped along by a good malt.
