I have a poor credit rating - I owe money to banks, etc.
I earn a good wage. I would like to get a high street loan. And then use that to pay off all my debts. Then rebuil dmy credit rating.
Does anyone know any good banks?
I'm with Barclays but unsure as to how they would organise this loan.
Has anybody else been in this situation?
Thanks!

When you say you owe money to banks is it because you have left your account with say an overdraft and loans etc?
I think you would need to explain the amount of debt in relation to your salary and if the debts are bad debts or simply borrowing you havent cleared yet.

I have to say, despite Mrs P's comment, I would highly recommend jenny''s advice and visiting Martin Lewis's www.moneysavingexpert.com website.
It's a cracking site and people reading this here can go to it the same as you. Why duplicate information several times on the web when it's only a click away?
You should lots of useful info there not just on bank accounts but helping yourself through of all sorts of financial mazes...
Good luck!
