Blinds for a wide window

We are looking for a blind for our bedroom and are having problems due to the size of our window.  It's 250cm wide x 120cm - great for letting in light, but hard to find blinds to fit.  I've done an internet search and found lots of websites that make blinds to fit - but the maximum size I can get a quote on seems to be 240cm.  Has anyone got any suggestions?  Ideally we want a wooden/bamboo type blind.  We found one in John Lewis (called Jonelle) but the maximum size is 180cm.  Any ideas welcome!  We don't really want to fit two separate blinds as it means we then have two cords.

Thanks

I think John Lewis make them to any size, worth a look anyway

Have you considered vertical blinds ? These are easier to get in wider widths.

Good luck

We used to have vertical blinds in all our offices & the problem we found with those, is that you can't have anything on narrow window sills, when the blinds are open. Although, they will be fine if fitted in boxed shaped windows with a large sill.
Wood you consider wood vertical blinds? There are wooden venetian blinds over 250 cm width but probably will work out more expensive than wood verticals, for more on Blinds call these people...
This company makes bespoke blinds at a reasonable price:
