Embedding Images On Answerbank
3 Answers
Does anyone know if it's possible to embed images on AnswerBank? A bit like how when you add a YouTube url, you get a video that you can watch without opening another tab/window for YouTube.
If AnswerBank allows BBCode or Markdown, the following SFW images should show...
Gravatar picture (BBCode): [url=https://www.i.lowrex.com/image/BJxe2][img]https://www.i.lowrex.com/i/BJxe2.md.jpg[/img][/url]
Gravatar picture (Markdown): [![BJxe2.md.jpg](https://www.i.lowrex.com/i/BJxe2.md.jpg)](https://www.i.lowrex.com/image/BJxe2)
I suspect that some people may not know what I'm on about, which is fine - I sometimes don't know what I'm on about :P
Hopefully I've put it in the right place (I wasn't sure whether to put it here or in technology). I suspect Chris may know the answer to this one though :) I look forward to your input Sir.

AB used to allow some HTML code to be used in posts but that was only for text. The facility got abused though, with certain people regularly 'forgetting' to use the HTML code to turn off special effects at the end of their posts, so that (for example) entire pages of AB would appear in bright green, bold italic text. So the idea was soon abandoned.
The only way to display images here is to upload them to an image-hosting site and then post links to them within your AB posts. e.g. https:/ /www.i. lowrex. com/i/B Jxe2.md .jpg

Cheers Buenchico, I expected you to know the answer to my question.
I'll stick to doing it like you suggested (as I did in a previous thread), using lowrex (/i/image.jpg, rather than /image/image.jpg or /i/image.md.jpg). There's no annoying pop-ups with lowrex - I noticed I was getting pop-ups from ImgBB (not sure if anyone else has experienced pop-ups from that site?). I could add something to uBlock Origin for ImgBB, however it's just easier for me to use the alternative :)
