P.S. Cocoa occasionally at bedtime (made in a large cup)
Tea? Tea you say ?
Bleughhh, the smell makes me balk :0(
That's interesting Bobbi, because tea, like wine, often relies on the "bouquet" for full appreciation.
It's pronounced 'bouquet' but spelled 'bucket'.
For me it has to be loose leaf tea brewed in a teapot. The only time I countenance teabags is when we're on holiday with no teapot.
Well, it sounds like there are some pretty posh people on here, but I'm wondering how RH boils the water without a kettle.
Do any of you eat a banana with a knife and fork?
I once worked with a girl who ate a banana with a spoon (same for crisps).
I was brought up with milky, sweet tea in my bottle from about 3 months old, like many of my generation.

I was also given copious amounts of gripe water (3.6% alcohol) from birth. I'm told I was a very good baby, no trouble at all. Slept through the night and most of the day, I imagine
Barsel, RH probably had an instant boiling tap, a Quooker or similar. Or a saucepan

// The drinking ingredients vessel just has to be China. //

I'd bet a pound to a penny your pinkie is at a precise angle of 85° to the handle of the China vessel.
Tetley teabags and Nescafe Gold instant, how common is that. We also don't have a kettle, we have a Breville HotCup Water Dispenser . We do have a posh coffee machine that does espressos but its usually only used on weekends.
Hate tea!! It's java coffee with hot milk and a touch of demerara.
// a touch of demerara. //

These days, white sugar cubes are quite rare.

As for Brown sugar cubes, demerara!
