My wife was prescribed
28 Phenoxymethylpennicillin tablets
The Pharmacist dispensed 25 tablets .
She spoke to the pharmacist today and was told that they explained to her at the time
that there was a national shortage and they only had the
25 tablets . ( She doesn't recall being so advised that there would be a problem getting the remainder )
What they are proposing is that the missing 3 Phenoxymethylpennicillin tablets is replaced by 3 Amoxicillin tablets
Would that be ok ?
