There is much needed reform to the current situation extant on the Mexican border.
A system that treats humanely each application for asylum is well overdue.
Biden ought to be applauded for recognising the plight that some Mexicans are genuinely fleeing from persecution. Fight the good fight Me President!

I've no idea of the processes for getting rid and appointing others, but is Biden happy with them, Ich?
oh I do: they are appointed by the President and then are confirmed by the senate
[Specifically, Article II, Section 2, Clause 2, provides that the President of the United States nominates a justice and that the United States Senate provides..]
so whomever controls the senate ( Trump until recently) had veto effect.
Obama cd get few of his appointees thro, including a delay because it wd be unfair to appoint justices in his last year of power
Trump appointed three ( giving the reps a vast majority) in his last year
and Biden didnt approve but cd do nothing about it.
Impeach a judge?
Has a Justice ever been impeached? The only Justice to be impeached was Associate Justice Samuel Chase in 1805. The House of Representatives passed Articles of Impeachment against him; however, he was acquitted by the Senate.
this is not too technical is it? - Do you have to be a lawyer? no one in 1922 ( the last) wasnt
They can resign - Ruth Bader Ginsburg was implored to resign so that a Dem cd be appointed and she wdnt, She died presumably beyond her expectation, during Trumps tenure and a rep appointed in her stead. Liked being a justice too much I suppose.
There was one who resigned in 1946 so he cd prosecute the War Crimes Trials - ( show trials where the allies hanged all the Germans who lost) and made a complete mess of the cross exam of Goering ( bombing of civilian populations)
Goering mounted a 'tu quoque' defence and pleaded, " O god look at Dresden or Hamburg, the allies did this as well"
quite interesting if you bother to read about it
