Peanuts For Wild Birds.
22 Answers
Last time I bought them they were £1 a bag. This morning they cost £1.25. The birds get used to to having a source of food in the winter so I won't reduce the amount I buy. But that's some jump in price, isn't it?

I don't think 25p is too much, not with the way everything is going up these days. Every day I put out a large plate of food for my birds, consisting of dried mealworms (the blackbirds love them), suet pieces, nuts and cut up bread (the sparrows always eat that first). I also put monkey nuts out for my resident squirrel and I love watching him carry them off. I make sure I never run out of anything because I don't like to disappoint them in the very cold weather, and it is very cold today.
