I serve you a bowl of hot apple pie.

Should the custard be hot or cold?

Hot, unless there's an ice cream option.
Hot of course and of nectar consistency or it goes back to the kitchen. ;-)
hot or cold ice cream !!
hot custard, with cold apple pie, or hot apple pie with ice cream. (but I don't like ice cream).
Arghhhh! I want cherry pie and custard now. Both hot.
I prefer thick cream!
I like hot and cold so, hot apple pie with cold cream, cold apple pie with hot custard.
Now that you mention it can I have Cherry Healey?

Ice cream is not an option. Neither is cream.

I am however prepared to negotiate on the pie filling.
No custard. Clotted cream is the only way to go.
I love hot custard on any sweet pie, hot mince pies and hot custard were the order of the day all over Christmas ;) It'll be a long veganuary :(

Hot, definitely.
No custard thank you and I'll wait until the pie is cold.
The custard should be hot but some lovely cold ice cream would be a lot nicer ;-)
