who is staying in for new years eve, i cannot be bothered with the pub this year, probably concerned with the electric and gas bills that are going to arive, still have a drink inddors though.
Too much temptation in a pub, and I'm not sure if I'd be able to cope with all the people. Far too much illness going around at the moment as well, I'd rather not get ill.
was going to go to the pub, but they stopped selling my fav beer and replaced it with estrella at £5.80, i dont think so with wifey in tow
id have to remortgage the house, hollow legs lol.
In, we are both full of cold, (not that we would have gone out anyway)
enjoying an Indian meal.
Mr S with his Pinot Grigio, I don't drink because of my meds, but may have a sneaky Pinot spritzer.
All the best for 2023 to everyone.
We did go out with friends to a pub that had a pre-booked buffet and entertainment - a singer, and we enjoyed it very much.
I do think it's a sign of the times that, as a mobile DJ, last year, from the two booking agencies I use, I got two or three offers from each almost every day from the beginning of September up until Christmas, looking for NYE discos, this year there was not one single request from either of them.
NYE is basically amateur night when people who don't normally drink decide they'll go out. Then follows all the agro etc. I tend to go out for a few at 6 ish then I'm home by 9 and as last night, away with the fairies well before come midnight!
