how do I top up a vaillant 824e boiler

as above, How do you top up a baillant 824e combi boiler, the manual doesnt seem to have instructions and the water pressure gauge is low.

You need to look for the filling loop usually a silver braided flexible hose somewhere under or very close to the boiler, fixed to the pipes. One end should be attached to the cold feed & the other end fixed to the heating retun pipe. just attach the end that is hanging loose then turn on the valves at each end of the hose until the pressure reaches approx 1 bar then turn off the valve's & dissconect the hose again. the hose is only a temp filling device & should not be left permanently in position.

Sadly this does not appear to have a filling loop like our previous boiler had.

The 824E has a built in filling loop if it is not visible when you look up from underneath the boiler then you may have to pull the flap down & it will be in front of the pump.
