ideal heart rate for fat burning
4 Answers
i think i have heard that excersing at 60% of your theoretical maximum heart rate is best for fat burning. i also think i have heard that excersising above this, say at 75%, you will be burning muscle not fat. first, have i understood this correctly? second, so even if i barely break a sweat at 60%, if I want to burn fat i must resist the urge to work harder? i have a limited amount of time of 30 mins a day, so it is not possible for me to work less hard but sustain it for longer.

I'll endeavour to find some links however try Google in the first instance. James.
