Lime Juice Cordial

is bottled lime juice any good for anything? I bought it to drink but found I don't like it much, and am to mean to chuck it if it can be used, would it do the same as lemon juice maybe? thanks,

I think the word 'Cordial' should have hinted that it's not suitable for laundering curtains or any washing/cleaning.

why do you wash meat or fish before you cook it...and why in lime juice?

The advice is to not wash. Cooking will kill any bacteria.

washing curtains in lime juice????

I don't wash meat either.....

maybe i could put the curtains in with the meat and stick it on a 60 degree cycle with lime and see what happens....

But i love lime and soda with lime, Gin lime & soda is also nice

you could make a lime sorbet?

Ummmm here's a scenario :- A live chicken was just killed for dinner and whilst removing the 'guts' the intestine was torn and chicken poo is all over the inside of the fowl. Would you just wipe the poo off and cook?

Here's another shocker - if there's no lime or lemon juice around flour is used to wash.
