Hi I need some soured cream and read that you can add lemon juice to double cream as a substitute. How much lemon juice would I need to add to 142ml pot of cream?

Many thanx :o)

I think it depends on taste, maybe 1 - 2 tablespoons

Many thanx albaqwerty & poodicat :o)

It's for a raspberry cheesecake. I found the recipe yesterday and looked up that soured cream could be substituted by adding lemon to double cream but it didn't say how much so bought the cream and juice and then realised didn't actually know how much I was adding lol

thanx again for your answers :o)
