It was hailing in Hayling earlier and now we've got heavy rain and thunder, with gales to add to the fun.

A bit worse than expected in winter I think, Canary. It's been worse than I've ever experienced here. Last night was dreadful. Gales, pounding rain causing floods and thunder and lightning.
Lovely house not far from us destroyed by lightning strike causing a fire.

Got absolutely chilled to the bone. on my way home, mainly due to a cold wind. Supposed to go to a sewing group tomorrow, might not bother if it's still like that

Not too bad here, bit windy but otherwise OK.

It rained most of yesterday and a few showers again today. No bad flooding but the common we walk across to get to and from school is constantly squelchy these days.

If only this excess rain can be stored somewhere so we don't need hosepipe bans in the summer!

It was supposed to rain all day today...there was a yellow warning. But it didn't, so I was glad I took a chance and went out anyway.
