Accessing Discovery+ On A Hisense Tv

I have a Hisense TV with no free app for Discovery+ but with access to it via a Prime app. The instructions to access it on the Prime app on the TV direct you to a specific Amazon page. However this page cannot be found either on my laptop or via my friends phone. If I go to the Discovery+ site on my laptop and subscribe for it via Prime, will the subscription xfer over to the TV?

The Discovery+ channel will probably be listed within the Prime app on your tv, not as a separate app
