Diet gym weight loss
I want to loose weight I go gym Mon Tue Wed early moring, I dont eat anything except warm water, lemon juice. 15mins strech, I do 30 mins weights To use up any Glycogen in the body, as resistence work utilises glycogen first, then I do long 25-30 eclipital trainer fat burning zone, So in effect i have no glycogen reserves left so I only burn fat. I also want to biuld muscle (not really beef up) so I have an increased metabolism so I can burn of fat quicker. Working out 3 days in a row is that okay? I havent got the time to space it every other day. Is my regime okay? what should I eat after a post meal work out?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Sorry, but going to the gym on three consecutive days is not a good idea, you should leave at least 24 hours between workouts to allow your body to recover and to actually do some 'growing' as a result of the stimulation given it by the exercises. You are unlikey to use up your glycogen reserves in 30 minutes of weight training, even at quite heavy weights, but you have the right idea, doing weights before aerobics is the way to go. When you say you dont eat anything, when exactly are you refering to? on the day of your workouts? before or after? And what is the lemon juice for?? Basically you should have a light meal no less than two hours before a workout, and drink plenty of water while you are doing it, whether you feel hot or not. As far as building muscle, if you do your whole body work out in 30 mins, I would say that you are not doing enough of any one exercise to really effect any particular muscle group, for example, my weight routine takes about 90 minutes, plus aerobic work, three times a week, and I do not 'beef up' as you put it. I would shift your work outs to the afternoon if you can, early morning sessions tend to be less effective, and afterwards, you need to replenish your fluid loss most of all, plus electrolytes, so drink lots of water, and maybe at least one of the propriatory sports drinks.
As for a post work out meal, something high in protien and carbohydrates, but low in saturated fats is a good idea. I work out early evening, then I usually have a protien shake, made up with half fat milk, plus my usual evening meal, and some extra fruit.
