I don't drink much anyway but a best guesstimate of £20 would cover the few beers if I meet up with a friend if I do it I will donate it.

Not had an alcoholic drink for 3 and a half years, at a family funeral. Haven't given up, just nobody to drink with and I would never drink on my own - too sad.

I get their point, but there are some very expensive alcohol free drinks out there, I will support my favourite bars, I will just drink differently

I don't drink all year. The only time I drink in New year when I down a few glasses of wine and a few gins. I don't need a national campaign to tell me what I should do. I already know.

Mr T has the occasional Lager or glass of wine. A major heart attack 13 years changed his eating and drinking habits. He's never been so slim and healthy !

Sorry to say that despite rowan's faith in me, tonight I have erred after only 11 days.
Nothing to do with mental resolution - I've managed it for the last 2 years after all - but more on the delicate issue, which I don't want to elaborate too much on, of constipation !!
Tonight I have had 3 bottles of Pils & a good hefty glass of red wine & I pray the problem might be tomorrow resolved.
