Spot Cream Sketch - Not The Nine O'clock News?
3 Answers
I was reminiscing about a comedy sketch, probably from the early 80's and possibly on Not the Nine O'clock News (BBC2). Does anyone remember it?
It was a parody of spot cream ads with a spotty youth before and after using the spot cream. The cream didn't eradicate the spots, just move them all to the same place. It was then possible to hide it. In this case the massive spot was hidden under a baseball cap. I believe at the end of the sketch it burst, with obvious consequences.
It would be great to search the web to see if its been uploaded, but I can't remember enough about it to find it.
