Try UK Jobs Guide http://www.ukjobsguide.co.uk
for an excellent directory of online job sites.
in my experience, it's worth submitting your cv.
with a lot of these sites, when you submit your cv, they automatically get sent to recruiters - i submitted a new version of my cv yesterday lunchtime and got about 4 phonecalls from agents in the afternoon.
as long as you don't sign up for annoying junk mail services, you've got nothing to lose really.
