. . . . who complain about tiredness if they have to play more than one match a week.

Our tennis star just played the equivalent of about 4 matches straight off.

Well done Andy, shame on our prima donna footballers.

You forgot 'and often for no result' Canary.

It's big business though, getting gullible folk to stand in the cold watching ballet dancers fail week after week.
who has complained about tiredness if they have to play more than one match a week?
Do footballers complain about playing more than once a week? I wouldn't know but 'your' tennis star agreed played a longer than usual match but top flight male tennis players are used to playing 5 sets. It's not that unusual and it's not a bad life either.
I wondered that roy. Most play twice a week most of the time and are annoyed if left out, Manager's might complain when they loose of course....
Comparing football and tennis is like comparing apples with oranges.

The dynamics, the energy dissipation, the movement, are all completely different and don't line up in any meaningful comparison.

So suggesting that Mr Murray's efforts, spectacular though they are, do not compare with any footballers efforts in his very different spot.
