My electricity is supplied by Scottish Power.

My new flat is supplied by SSE. I have been told that I need a meter upgrade by an electrician. Is SSE responsible for doing this?

Thanks for the info. To be honest any time I set off to arrange or change something when I am tired I can mess up and complicate even the simplest things. Speaking to foreign call centres and having a Scottish accent will complicate it even more.

There actually people who move house on a regular basis! I am going about 0.2 of a mile with no time constraints and help from friends. It is not going badly but its not a pleasant experience!
