Australian film?

This is a long shot but it's annoying me!

Does anyone know the title of an australian film which has a young brother and sister (possibly lost) in the outback? I can't remember much about it but i'm pretty sure it ends with them stumbling across a small town then cuts to sometime in the future when they've grown up...

Not much to go on I know but any help would be appreciated!

There's a movie called "Walkabout" that stars Jenny Agutter.It's about a brother & sister that get stranded in the Australian outback.I don't know if it the same movie you are talking about? but here is a link to it anyway.

theres also a film called rabbit proof fence, but thats about 3 sisters. at the end you realise its a true story and it cuts to 2 of the real characters as they are now. thought it might be the one youre after, as you dont remember much!
