Does anyone know of any program that can scan a .pdf or .jpg, identify what information it must extract and then transcribe each element into the correct column in an Excel database?
I once saw a phone app that could look at any business card and extract name/address/ phone number/email address into the correct parts of the phone contacts. It was a friend's and I didn't have a use for it then.
I need to find something that can look at an estate agent Memo of Sale, recognise the sale property/price/seller/buyer/solicitor for seller/solicitor for buyer and enter each into correct Excel column!
Each agent Memo of Sale is set out differently.
Even something that could understand if I annotate the Memo with the cell reference for each element would be ideal. My theory is, if I think of a new idea, it's probably already been done! So now, it's just a matter of finding it. Any ideas clever AB folk?
