Patras to Brindisi ferry crossing

Im about to go interrailing and plan to travel from Patras to Brindisi via ferry. I've heard that this ferry is often busy, is it possible to make reservations (cant seem to find anything online) or does anyone have any general advice? thanks

I have found an Italian site where you can book ferry crossings. It does have the Brindisi-Patras route. On the home page it gives you the option to select English (I have not tried it). www.prenotazione-traghetti.com.
