This is what my brother said regarding sepsis...

" And sepsis! It almost took my life. It was a really bad time, apparently brought on by cellulitis. My organs were threatened. It almost cost the lose of my left leg. I went through dialysis many times, 8 or 9, maybe more. I’m indebted to the doctors,- they saved my life!! My primary doctor calls me the miracle man! Frankly I think I have this sacral wound because the busy nursing staff didn’t turn me because they thought I wasn’t going to make it.
Sepsis is serious stuff! I wish this person luck, she should be be very aggressive with her doctors! "

TBH...I cry reading this. It was actually several months before he was even able to type an email.

My husband and son were called to the hospital because it was thought I was dying. Its a horrible, horrible illness. My kidneys are still working reasonable well as is my heart But I feel mentally and physically awful. It has made my worn out spine and joints much more painful. I am so very depressed and anxious. They think the cause was ecoli.
Lots of other problems and tonight I have had a good cry.

Thank you Pasta and thank your brother. Xx
