A child proof lock was put on the microwave oven to keep this cat out of it.

The cat still seems pretty determined to open the door.

My Chequers would use a completely different approach. He'd simply give me his miaow (which is loud enough to wake the entire street) that says "I know that there's food about and I want it NOW! Get it sorted, Human!"

I put child proof locks on cupboards to keep Frankie out. H had no problem with them, I couldn't get the doors to open.

Once his monster gets the door opened his work will be done. He will then try the approach that Chequers prefers. (I had a bit of a problem typing hat sentence without tackling the apostrophe issue Chequers' or Chequers's)!

I said the same think to my brother.

People can make money for funny videos and this one has been on news channels in the US. People do odd things to get cash.

I hope the make quite a bit of cash, they are going to need it when the cat kills the microwave and rips the socket out of the wall.

Or curiosity will indeed kill the cat if the microwave lands on top of it.

It would be easier to let the cat in the microwave than pick all the smashed pieces up off the floor.

An easier solution would be not to put the lock on, but to shut the door once the cat's inside and switch on. It wouldn't do it again.

Frightenly there were videos of people putting cats in microwaves and washing machines.

Human stupidity and video cameras are a scary mix.
