I have a gigantic sweet and sour/kung pao chicken bubbling away in the oven. I added a tin of pineapple chunks and a good glug of vinegar to the mix as I generally find most sweet and sour sauces too sweet. We have a bottle of bubbly chilling too, just because :)

Simple- for Rugby - Scotch pie, chips and peas.
Ahh but you haven't tried mine Red :-) I'd used the Beef for a Stew so next best thing to use up the veggies.
I thought ‘kefir’ was a new way of doing a super duper salad, sounds as if it should be!
Actually, that salad sounds just up my street, Helen. Did you invent it or follow a recipe?
I quite like sausage casserole with floppy sausages but OH cannot abide it, he prefers his sausages in a baguette.
No floppy sausages at my end, I cut them up into bite size pieces.

My sausage needs to be dry can’t stand moist sausage.
The salad I originally bout from avoca for an easy lunch but it cost a fiver! For a stupidly small portion. So I played around and you can buy a pouch of quinoa and chickpeas that take a minute in the microwave and the goji berries and flaxseed comes in a large pouch that you just sprinkle on, I roasted the broccoli and squash with a little oil and garlic granules, if you need dressing the I use french.
I am currently having a bowl of it with some chopped seafood sticks
Ooh thanks Helen, will write that down, does sound delicious. Ive just found something a bit similar on Jamie Oliver’s site.
‘And you gave me best answer! :o) ‘

The BA was for the ‘just because’ comment lol
Ha ha, I did wonder, I thought maybe you just fancied sweet and sour chicken ;)
I'm not sure. I'm really struggling for inspiration. Not for me but for him. I'd happily eat a risotto or a spicy mushroom pilaff or the like. He'll want meat! I may play freezer roulette later.
No idea, maybe just soup, and fruit .
The great freezer god has sent minted lamb balls. Which i shall do with halloumi and fruity cous cous.
