Just got an e-mail telling me my McAfee licence has expired. Gave me a button to click to renew (which no doubt would request bank details). Also added a warning to say there are 39 viruses on my machine.

Only two snags.

1. I don't have McAfee on my machine and never have had.

2. The e-mail address it came from is [email protected]. Doesn't sound much like McAfee to me.

McAfee is a blooming nuisance. Just won’t go away.
Just got new laptop and McAfee came with it. First thing I did was to remove it. It's a pain.
