I polished my leather shoes the other day while traveling up the escalator in Tesco's. There is one continuous line of brushes on the bottom edge. I did the right shoe on the way up, and the left on the way down. You should have seen the shine on them. :0>>>

That's made me chuckle :-)
Every little helps
Ah - you must be the bloke they call Stumpy MacStumpylegs ...
Watch that stuff, a friend did the same and when he tried to claim for injury it turned out he didn't have a leg to stand on.
I got a free trolley of food from the local supermarket when I walked out without paying, then free accommodation in the local gaol.
Talking of which, I recently read that production of Kiwi shoe polish would cease through lack of demand. Really, do folk not polish shoes any more?
Shoes don't last long enough to get polished.
A long time ago Kiwi and Cherry Blossom had different Royal Warrants of Approval, one for the Queen, one for Prince Philip. Couldn't imagine the servants using different brands.
Are they made of paper, pasta? ;)

I have always polished the shoes I have worn at the end of the day. I notice other peoples shoes that would not have seen polish, ever!
What's shoe polish??
I managed to run out of Tesco last weekend with a leg of lamb and didn't set the alarm off....
:-/
Nothing free for me since the free pints in the village pubs on Christmas Eve.
Dave however placed an order with Holland and Barrett. The parcel included two free large bottles of some sort of high energy pills.

I'm not sure they're working. ;-)
I might be weird but I don't like shiny shoes or boots, so any footwear I buy is suede or matte. And a hate to see men in shiny shoes. Actually I only wear boots or sketchers now. I don't think many do polish shoes now. I do like clean shoes though. Just not shiny.
Yes I have had something free. A friend did some shopping for me and when in town he found on the floor a pair of owl socks still in their packet and thought I might like them (I do), so he brought them round for me. They are lovely and cosy!
nicebloke, just realised we had some lovely smiles and waves from neighbours (whom we have not spoken to for ages) when I took OH out for a ride last week. Felt like royalty waving back at them :)
All free!
Stress.
W-t-f are owl socks?
I got a free ready to roast chicken from Sainsbury’s a few months ago, with our click and collect. I rang them up to see if they wanted it back but was told to keep it if I wanted to, or give it away to someone who did, Sainsbury’s didn’t want it back and would bin it if we took it in.
15:50 if you had asked nicer I may have told you.
I look after my shoes, polished regularly and last for many years
