Does anyone know where I can get hold of COVID test kits ? The on line ordering is no longer available.

I should imagine your GP would have to inform whoever they have to inform that you are considered vulnerable now, and I expect this takes time.
Phone your GP and see what they say.

There are still those who are more vulnerable than others. MissT for example...I hope she doesn't mind me mentioning it...is recovering from sepsis. It may take months...she and others like her need to be extremely careful as do anyone they come into contact with.

That's ok Pasta. I don't mind at all. I'm not going out at all except to the surgery where I have to wear a mask. MrT wears a mask when he shops etc. For my protection. Any social life we had is on hold. Just looking forward to getting into the conservatory soon. At least we have lovely views to look at.

As for putting the other half in the spare room, absolutely pointless. My wife and I have had separate rooms for years, we also have a house with more than one living room. It didnt stop it.

I'm in the spareroom simply because I'm not well and having very disturbed nights. I dont want Mr T to suffer or lose sleep. He's busy now all day as my carer. There is a degree of protection wearing masks.

My husband slept in the spare room last night as a precaution , he’s a diabetic and almost 82 years old , I don’t see any advantage of “ getting on with it” if he becomes I’ll,Me? I’ll get through it even at 76 yrs old because I have no health issues but no point in inviting it to hit on my husband…is there?
