I have never had a bad night out in Ireland. Course, there are places you go and places you don't, and subjects you avoid, just like anywhere else! I've always found that you're fine if you restrict the topic of conversation to the relative merits of the Jamesons versus the Laphraoig, and the pretty Irish colleens and the bonny Scots lassies!
