We’re having visitors from abroad soon, one of whom enjoys ‘proper’ coffee in a cafetière.They like smooth, fairly mild coffee. I’ve no idea what to get in for them as I love my Nescafé gold blend..fairly strong, two sweetners, lots of milk.
Any ideas from coffee lovers??

Taylor’s of Harrogate lazy Sunday at Sainsbury’s is lovely if you like a mild smooth coffee
I'd agree with Red.

Wow, thanks. Ive actually ordered one of those in the click and collect as I thought it might do the trick :)
Lol it’s not my cup of tea (lol) I like coffee thick and black
Once you've had it thick and black, you'll never go back.
Whatever happened to 'When in Rome' and all that?

Is that your experience ZM?

They don’t want ‘strong’, and the when in Rome thing doesn’t count when you’re not in Rome, obviously, as we don’t live in Rome ;)
I want to provide things which our visitors will enjoy, some people don’t but I do.
Many thanks for the helpful replies.
Yes inflicting instant on people who like proper coffee is really not a good idea.
The coffees are graded by number so get a "smooth, mild" one with a low number :-)

Equally, ich, inflicting proper ground coffee on the likes of me and him is a waste of time and money ;)
Lol it’s not my cup of tea (lol) I like coffee thick and black
like my men ( thx to Airplane)
Smooth mild, not my taste either but Taylor's lazy Sunday would probably fit the bill, or Aldis strength 3 if you want a slightly cheaper option. Starbucks house blend is very mild and available in some supermarkets.
Question Author
I ordered that one too, Rowan, thought it might fit the bill, so it’s interesting to read your view, thank you :)

The Starbucks one..
I have the Starbucks one for flavour lattes. It’s ok.
I didn’t suggest it as many are anti Starbucks
I buy mega strong, a friend let me try some skull crusher, I was pinging off the walls for hours. I think I will get some....
