I too have a food hygiene certificate, goes out of the window when at home. Although I did get a nasty dose of some food poisoning thing after handling raw chicken and forgetting to wash my hands, never again, it was really, really awful :(
Ive worked with adults with learning difficulties, Pixie, and thoroughly enjoyed it, did it for nine years. Lots of fun, lots of problems, learnt makaton, learnt a lot about myself. I previously worked with Alzheimer’s people and found it a really pleasant change, much more fun and a whole bunch of colleagues instead of being a one to one. You’ll be great!

Well I've done my duties. Invited a new to the village couple to join us in the Holy Well. He's a Corkie and she's a Brit....but they're okay despite that. Well more than okay. ;-)

They enjoyed it so much he asked if we can do it again on Friday and she's selling her UK house to stay here full time.
I guess I will have to struggle down to the Holy Well again on Friday.
Just don't want to disappoint them. It's a hard life. :-(
