My friend owns a second hand, 3 berth caravan situated at the Lakeside site at Chichester, West Sussex. The caravan is 7/8 yrs old. At the very end of last year, with the "help" of another friend he tried to sell it unsuccessfully. Neither of these two are the sharpest tools in the box however and I suspect it wasn't priced correctly or advertised in the correct places. Surely, with the housing situation in the UK, which must be especially bad in the south east, this caravan must be eminently sellable at the right price? Could someone please advise on a realistic value for the caravan? It is in genuinely good condition although the ground rent at this location is expensive c. 8k annually.
Thanks
my associate recently purchased a second hand static home that could berth 6 people for seven thousand and it was in good condition so if you have a 3 berth caravan not a static home i would assume no more than five thousand but i mean who knows
