It's hard enough keeping up within the community... Let alone outside it. Thirty years ago you were excluded if you were bi as you were not considered a proper gay person, before that you weren't accepted if you were a feminine lesbian ( had a dreadful time at pride, always from the butch brigade, never the men) now it's welcome brother, sister, whatever, so long as you once looked at a same sex person and thought they are Nice looking.. I don't want to fit in a box, I have enough labels to deal with thank you. Maybe it's being older and living through the changes that brought us to this point. I am pro acceptance, but anti the aggressive demands of any minority group. Yout they don't get where you want to be by attacking the majority but by x demonstrating the thing they attack in you is not a threat just a different way of living
